For as long as I can remember, I have loved capturing special moments on film. I got my first camera when I was eight years old and have been in love with photography ever since. I was always the friend taking pictures at parties and the family member harassing everyone to “smile” at each holidays gathering. When I was in high school, I worked for Newburyport Whale Watch and thus, spent my summers on a boat. Before long, I was the official photographer on the boat and captured some incredible photos of some of the most magnificient creatures in this world. My love of photography continued to grow. My husband bought me my first professional camera as a wedding gift and I decided it was time to take some classes to improve my skills. While living in Boston, I took classes at NESOP and learned so much more about what my camera could do. In 2010, I began doing small sessions with friends and their children. From there, I did a few newborn shoots and before long, I was taking family portraits, photographing events and doing engagement shoots. The best part is that I’ve enjoyed every bit of this process and am thrilled with the progression, simply because I’m doing what I love.
My husband and I live in Newburyport with our two beautiful children. I love looking back at pictures of them and seeing how they’ve grown over the years. The memories are priceless. I would love to preserve special moments in time for you, too.
